Could someone show me a tutorial on how to blend images in Photoshop?

I'm pretty Photoshop savvy, except for the fact that I've never learned how to really blend. I love creating graphic designs and have always wanted to know how to blend, so i could make things like these:

1)http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v309/2鈥?/a>

2)http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v309/2鈥?/a>

3)http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v309/2鈥?/a>

4)http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v309/2鈥?/a>

and etc... So if anyone could please send me a decent tutorial, or explain to me themselves how to make blends such as the ones above, I would be very grateful!

P.S. I have Photoshop CS4

Thanks!Could someone show me a tutorial on how to blend images in Photoshop?

You can also layer images and use the eraser set to 0% hardness and erase around the image. You'll have better control this way.

Unfortunately, this is a VERY unique style and not many artists do tutorials.

My best bet would be to start experiment with paint or photoshop to create similar art with your own touch and style put into it.

For painting, I would say use some acrylic paints: make the background using thick brushes then proceed to use similar colors to create the body. As for the splatter, put some acrylic paint on a toothbrush you dont use anymore and pull back the bristles on the brush. Little splatters will be flicked onto the painting when you let go.

For photoshop, I would go to deviantart and download some paint-like and splatter photoshop brushes and use lots of layer.
Those are digital paintings done with a tablet. You won't find a tutorial for something like that because it's just too complex and entirely by hand, so to speak.

What site of internet haves really cool magic tricks ( videos or images ) and the tutorial of them?

Most sites that have magic tricks dont have the tutorials for them. It is unethical to reveal magic tricks in such a way. If you want to learn magic I suggest you buy a book or dvd of the type of magic you want to learn. Royal Road to Card Magic is a good book to start with for card tricks ($10US) and J.B. Bobo's Modern Coin Magic is good for coin tricks (also about $10US). You can try posting on a forum for more advice, I post at www.magihat.co.uk.

Steve... maybe post a link to show what you can do.

I am sure you know what you need to do to achieve what you desire.

Copy and imitation is a good start. Once you are proficient at copy then you can move on to unique poses with the subject you are now familiar with. Work on perspective. Foreshortening.

Is there a tutorial for black and white images in photoshop?

i tried searching for a tutorial on google but i couldn't find the one i was looking for...

i want to make smooth, soft light, high contrast ,black and white photo( i am using photoshop cs3 extended) anyone know how or know of any tutorials?

if you do can you tell me? thank you!!!Is there a tutorial for black and white images in photoshop?
    Hi,

I'm assuming you want to convert a color photo to a black and white photo with artistic tonal (contrast) quality.

I haven't tried CS3, so I'm hoping all the same features as the prior versions are as easily available.

Here is a tutorial on properly converting the image to black and white.

Once you've done that, use the Curves tool to tune the contrast to your liking.

You may wish to tweak it further using Brightness/Contrast.

Try http://www.lynda.com. It has all sorts of video tutorials for Photoshop. You will have to pay for the service (it's usually pretty inexpensive) but it is worth it to have the knowledge and since you're already paying someone else, why not invest in the knowledge yourself?

The best software to use is Studio 8 or Maya 7. The software will allow you to create images, 2D and 3D animated graphics.

You can also use your paint program that came with Windows, just save your graphics as .jpeg, or .gif.

Tutorial for a fake image map with CSS?

i want to make a fake image map for my myspace.

a fake image map is a picture, and when you hover the picture changes and it is a link.

since i am making it for myspace it needs to be made with CSS.

the things is that the only good tutorial i have found for it is making it with javascript, which wont work.

    that tutorial is here:

p.s. the ones on createblog.com dont work, so none of those please.

You can get high quality css styles for free.

Just link your css link with this site it is free.

The styles are absolutley awsome and free.

No need to learn graphics and css coding.

http://www.csszengarden.comTutorial for a fake image map with CSS?
you can do that using position:absolute for your links and position them accordingly to your image. but to make the links active, you have to have a transparent gif image as a background and then do a a:hover on the links to change the background to the one you want.

    sample page: http://www.geocities.com/omega_archer200鈥?/a>

i placed 2 links with red borders over the cat's eyes(so you can see) with a red a:hover

    transparent gif download link:

    http://www.geocities.com/omega_archer200鈥?/a>

    NOTE!!!

the overflow:hidden is needed for this or else the position of your links wont stay where it should. as you will see in the sample, the links will move and stay in position when you resize your browser

you can use position:relative but the links will leave a gap that will need additional code to remove it.
An image map is an image that contains hotspots with links.

Dont you want an image roll over?

Well I found one by googling: http://www.webcredible.co.uk/user-friend鈥?/a>

Hope that helps! Else google: ';Image Rollover CSS';.
