I need a decent craft modelling website with tutorials, images and handy tips so I make my own models?

after my exams in psychology, I was considering going into modelling (I'm not talking about beauty here!

because I have about 5 months or so of freedom, I've put of my creative interests for science and part time work (sadly)

I was interested in doing the following things...

- Making mini clay bricks

- how to plan and build architectural structures, bottom up

- how to make mini furniture

- how to make mini-gardens

- List of tools, materials and procedures needed (and places to buy in UK)

I want to avoid 'cheating' as much as possible (avoiding shortcuts)

Thank you! I am struggling to find anything useful on the internet, when I looked up 'growing moss for modelling' all the search engines talk about is Kate Moss! :(I need a decent craft modelling website with tutorials, images and handy tips so I make my own models?
For most everything you're seeking (except for the mini-bricks)... you'd want to look into Dollhouse building or Architectural modeling (we Yanks spell it with one ';L';, and therefore so do most search engines).

I'm mostly a builder of N and HO scale model buildings, but here are some sites that might help:
